First and foremost, I am truly thankful for my lovely parents and my dearest cousins who made my first travel-alone trip to Singapore so wonderful and unforgettable.

This is me (in the middle) and my cousin (the man on the right who was trying to look “serious”) in a lecture hall at NTU, Singapore.
To begin with, everything started with one simple text from one of my cousins who was working in Singapore. She texted me: “Hey, Taylor’s gonna have a concert here. Do you want to go?”. Yes, we were talking about Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour Concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium in November 2015. I’ve always been a fan of hers. Any Swifties in this whole world be dying for a ticket of her show. I answered, “Ofc, I’d love to!”. At that time, I thought it was just a usual question, a question with no special intention at all. Surprisingly, it turned out that my cousins did mean to invite me to come over, or fly over, to be exact, so we could enjoy the show together.
That’s how it all began :)

Dream comes true!
Luckily, I would have finished my mid-term exams and had no important work to do in November, so I decided to have a trip to Singapore, not only to go to the 1989 Concert but also to explore the Singapore that I love. I had been to Singapore twice before this trip, but in neither of those trips I had the chance to truly experience Singapore as I wanted. One time I was too small to remember anything, and one time the schedule was too tight that I couldn’t visit any tourist attractions. Not to mention the fact that I would travel alone this time which meant I could go anywhere and do anything I wanted to \m/
I was super psyched about my upcoming trip =)) Like crazily excited =)) After I came back home, I was going to share all of my experiences via some kind of trip diary, but things just got in the way. Yeah, I know excuses :<
Cheers,
Na
P/s: It’s been a long time since my last post, so I couldn’t even remember that I’ve already got a post that shared my overall experience on the trip. You can read it here (in Vietnamese) ^^
